PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

  • Global Learning Strategy: Design and implement enterprise-wide learning and development programs that align with long-term organizational goals.

  • Leadership Development: Build executive and mid-level leadership training initiatives to strengthen the talent pipeline and succession planning.

  • Digital Learning Innovation: Deploy advanced tools, including AI-driven learning platforms, microlearning, and digital academies, to scale learning experiences.

  • Diversity & Inclusion Integration: Ensure learning strategies embed inclusivity and provide equitable access to development opportunities.

  • Performance Enablement: Link training initiatives to measurable outcomes such as productivity, employee engagement, and retention.

  • Partnership & Collaboration: Partner with HR, Operations, and Business Leaders to identify skill gaps and align learning programs with corporate strategy.

  • Evaluation & Metrics: Establish KPIs and feedback systems to assess program effectiveness and continuously improve learning impact.

  • Executive Reporting: Present workforce development strategies and results to the CHRO, CEO, and Board of Directors.

Qualifications, Special Knowledge, Education and Abilities

  • 12+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Management, or HR Strategy, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven expertise in building large-scale corporate training, leadership development, and digital learning solutions.

  • Experience in technology, professional services, or global enterprises highly preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of learning platforms (LMS, LXP), instructional design, and adult learning principles.

  • Advanced degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or MBA (preferred).

  • Excellent executive presence with strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead global, cross-cultural teams and deliver results in complex environments.

The Director of Learning and Development serves as a strategic partner to the CHRO and executive leadership, ensuring that workforce capability becomes a competitive advantage. This includes:

  • Advising on succession planning and executive leadership pipelines.

  • Partnering with business leaders to align workforce readiness with digital transformation goals.

  • Driving cultural transformation by embedding continuous learning mindsets.

  • Supporting enterprise-wide ESG and DEI objectives through equitable learning initiatives.

Working Conditions
