PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

  • Enterprise Analytics Strategy: Define and execute a multi-year analytics strategy, embedding data-driven decision-making across all business units.

  • AI & Machine Learning: Drive adoption of advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning platforms to generate predictive insights and competitive advantage.

  • Data Governance: Establish enterprise data policies, ensuring quality, accuracy, privacy, and compliance with global regulations.

  • Business Insights & Reporting: Lead the development of reporting systems and dashboards that translate complex data into actionable insights for executives and the Board.

  • Customer Intelligence: Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to leverage analytics for customer segmentation, personalization, and retention.

  • Operational Efficiency: Use data to identify opportunities for cost optimization, process improvement, and innovation across the enterprise.

  • Team Leadership: Build and mentor global analytics teams, cultivating a high-performance culture of curiosity, innovation, and accountability.

  • Board & Executive Reporting: Deliver analytics insights and foresight directly to the CEO, CFO, and Board of Directors.

Qualifications, Special Knowledge, Education, and Abilities

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership in Analytics, Data Science, or Business Intelligence, with at least 7+ years in executive roles.

  • Proven success in technology, financial services, SaaS, or global Fortune 500 enterprises.

  • Deep expertise in AI/ML, predictive modeling, big data ecosystems, and advanced analytics platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.).

  • Strong knowledge of data governance, data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA), and compliance frameworks.

  • Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or MBA with analytics specialization preferred.

  • Demonstrated success in translating analytics into business outcomes with measurable ROI.

  • Exceptional leadership presence, communication skills, and Board-level influencing experience.

Strategic Support

The Chief Analytics Officer serves as a strategic advisor to the CEO, CFO, and executive leadership, ensuring analytics directly supports corporate goals and competitive advantage. Strategic contributions include:

  • Advising on capital allocation for data and AI investments.

  • Supporting M&A analysis and integration strategies with data-driven insights.

  • Guiding product innovation and digital transformation through analytics-driven decision frameworks.

  • Partnering with ESG and sustainability leaders to develop data-backed reporting frameworks for transparency and compliance.

Working Conditions

  • Remote role with periodic travel for executive strategy meetings, global data center visits, and leadership summits.
