About the Opportunity
We are seeking a forward-thinking and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations during a critical phase of growth and transformation. As CFO, you will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for defining and executing the financial strategy, optimizing performance, and ensuring long-term financial sustainability.
This is a high-impact role ideal for an accomplished finance leader who brings deep financial expertise, operational rigor, and strong business insight. You’ll collaborate closely with the CEO and Board of Directors to align financial planning with corporate goals while driving capital strategy, forecasting, investor relations, and fiscal discipline.
While our headquarters are based in New York City, we offer flexibility for remote candidates across the U.S., with occasional travel to NYC for executive leadership meetings and board presentations.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of all financial strategies, including budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning.

Oversee functional areas including Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, and Compliance.

Serve as a strategic business partner to the CEO and leadership team, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.

Build scalable financial infrastructure, systems, and controls to support organizational growth.

Drive capital markets initiatives, including fundraising, debt strategy, and financial partnerships.

Lead financial due diligence and integration for mergers and acquisitions.

Represent the company in external financial matters, including board reporting, audits, and regulatory compliance.

Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing finance team that fosters a culture of excellence, ownership, and innovation.
Qualifications

10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including at least 5 years as CFO or equivalent executive role.

Proven experience in scaling finance operations within high-growth environments (public or late-stage private companies preferred).

Expertise in financial planning, capital strategy, investor communications, and compliance.

Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and regulatory frameworks.

Demonstrated experience with capital raising, board reporting, and investor engagement.

Proficiency in enterprise financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Workday, Adaptive Insights).

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).

Industry background in SaaS, fintech, or consumer sectors is a strong plus.
Location & Work Arrangement

Preferred: Hybrid role based in New York City (2–3 days per week in-office).

Remote: Open to exceptional candidates across the U.S., with occasional travel to NYC for key meetings.
