The Opportunity
As Vice President of Program Management, you will lead the design, governance, and execution of multi-million-dollar programs across the enterprise. You will partner with senior executives, product teams, IT leaders, and business units to ensure alignment between strategy and execution.
You will be tasked with building a world-class Program Management Office (PMO), implementing enterprise governance models, and enabling program delivery at scale while mentoring a high-performing team of program and project leaders.
This is a high-visibility executive role with direct impact on business performance, innovation, and customer value.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Alignment

Define and implement enterprise-wide program management strategies that align with organizational goals and business transformation priorities.

Act as a trusted advisor to the C-suite and board, presenting program outcomes, risks, and recommendations.

Program Governance & Delivery

Establish governance frameworks for multi-year, multi-million-dollar initiatives spanning IT, operations, and corporate functions.

Drive portfolio prioritization and ensure measurable ROI across all strategic initiatives.

PMO Development & Talent Leadership

Build, scale, and lead a world-class Program Management Office.

Hire, mentor, and develop senior program managers, ensuring a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.

Cross-Functional Transformation

Partner with Product, IT, Operations, and Finance leadership to deliver complex initiatives on time and within budget.

Enable adoption of digital tools, ERP platforms, and process automation to accelerate transformation.

Risk & Performance Management

Proactively identify risks, interdependencies, and bottlenecks across large-scale programs.

Deploy performance metrics, KPIs, and reporting dashboards to track progress and optimize delivery outcomes.

What You Bring
-
Extensive Leadership Experience – 15+ years in program and portfolio management, with at least 7+ years in a senior leadership role (VP, Sr. Director, or Head of Program Management).

Fortune 500 & Enterprise Background – Proven success leading complex programs in global enterprises, ideally across IT, digital transformation, and operations.

Executive Presence – Strong communication, influencing, and presentation skills, with experience engaging C-suite stakeholders and boards.

Operational Expertise – Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration, manage budgets exceeding $50M, and deliver enterprise transformation at scale.

PMO Builder – Track record of establishing and scaling PMOs in organizations undergoing hypergrowth or large-scale change.

Certifications & Education – Bachelor’s in Business, IT, or related field; advanced degree (MBA or MS) strongly preferred. PMP, PgMP, or SAFe certifications are a plus.
