DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

Enterprise Quality Strategy: Define, implement, and oversee a global quality assurance strategy aligned with corporate objectives and regulatory standards.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with FDA, EMA, ISO, and other international quality and safety regulations.

Process Excellence: Champion Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement frameworks across enterprise QA systems.

Risk & Audit Management: Lead enterprise-wide audits, risk assessments, and corrective action programs to ensure quality integrity.

Innovation in QA: Drive adoption of AI, data analytics, and automation to improve product testing, monitoring, and quality control systems.

Global Oversight: Manage QA programs across multiple geographies, ensuring consistent standards and best practices worldwide.

Customer Trust & Experience: Embed quality into product lifecycle processes to ensure reliability, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Executive Engagement: Report directly to the CEO and Board Committees on quality performance, compliance risks, and operational improvements.
Qualifications, Special Knowledge, Education, and Abilities

18+ years of progressive leadership in Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, or Operations, with at least 7+ years in executive roles.

Proven success in life sciences, technology, or highly regulated global industries.

Strong knowledge of ISO, FDA, EMA, GMP, GLP, and global quality frameworks.

Expertise in risk management, compliance audits, and enterprise quality systems.

Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Quality Management, or MBA preferred.

Certifications such as ASQ-CQE, Six Sigma Master Black Belt, or CQA are highly valued.

Demonstrated success leading global QA teams and engaging with regulators at the highest levels.

Strong communication, executive presence, and Board-level influencing skills.
Strategic Support
The Vice President of Quality Assurance serves as a strategic advisor to the CEO, COO, and Board of Directors, ensuring that quality excellence protects the enterprise while driving innovation and growth. Key contributions include:

Advising on capital allocation for QA systems, compliance technology, and training programs.

Guiding M&A due diligence and post-merger QA integration strategies.

Partnering with R&D and Operations to embed quality at the earliest stages of product development.

Working Conditions
